Estie Morgan
CEO & Producer
Estie founded Productions 2000 in 1999. She is the anchor who produces and markets our shows - always committed to a standard of excellence. Graduating with an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Johannesburg, her passion is creating educational theatre that teaches, as well as entertains. She loves pondering on existential thoughts, and has a fiery sense of adventure, energy and love for those around her.
Ian Morgan
Scriptwriter
With a writing career that spans decades and more than 12 countries, Ian has a wealth of experience having written literally hundreds of documentaries, videos, plays and industrial theatre productions. Being the father of two teenage sons has given him hands-on experience and insider perspectives that has informed his expertise in writing for this age group.
Vernicha Coetzee
Actor
Vernicha is an actor, singer and TV presenter. She has been an invaluable part of the cast for the last 9 years, and is also currently the tour manager. She completed her BA Drama degree at the University of Pretoria and is known as a vibrant and outspoken performer. She combines her acting career with social activism and is a powerful public speaker. She has a unique energy on stage that hits home with an iconic laugh that has stuck with learners over the years.
Nicolai Davidson
Actor
Besides joining the cast as actor, Nicolai has also taken up the role of 'chauffeur' and is the company's designated driver. He graduated from the Performing Arts Lifestyle Institute (PALI) in 2018, where he specialized in Camera Operation and Children's Theatre. He has since worked for several children's theatre companies including Reckless Haven, What Walrus, and Hooked on Books before joining Productions2000. In his free time he enjoys eating salami sticks and playing DnD with his friends.
Larissa Jordaan
Actor
Larissa Jordaan is a passionate full-time actor with Productions 2000 and the company's dedicated social media manager. With a strong foundation in performance, Larissa holds a degree in Performing Arts from the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). She is currently represented by Talent-ETC Artist Management, where she continues to grow her career across stage, screen, and digital platforms. Driven by creativity and authenticity, Larissa brings energy and professionalism to every project she takes on.
Sylvester Kalanie
Actor
Sylvester Kalanie is a dynamic 24-year-old South African actor, and he is the company's tech wizard who spices up our productions with energetic sound effects and music. His acting career was launched in 2019, and since then he has graced our screens as Wian in the KykNet storiefilm, Vlamme. A former long-distance athlete, Sylvester brings the same discipline and passion from the track to the stage, infusing his roles with energy and authenticity.
